  1. Short:    Prokofiev 5th Symphony .MID, 1st 2 movements

  6. Description: These sequences, the 1st 2 movements of Prokofiev's 5th
  7. Symphony, have been done for the Proteus 2 and the Orchestral
  8. Expansion card of the Roland JV1080.  All track not beginning
  9. with "Roland" are for the Proteus. You'll need a multiport
  10. MIDI interface (such as Triple Play Plus) to play the sequences
  11. as written because there are too many instruments; besides "the
  12. usual", Prokofiev used a piano, harp, contrabassoon, Eb clarinet,
  13. bass clarinet, and English horn).

  15.    There should be no program changes within tracks except
  16. for Horns, where I use Proteus 2 program 36 for soft passages,
  17. 37 for loud ones, and 38 for section horns.

  19.    All track have been transposed to C (actually at least two scores
  20. of this symphony are printed this way!) and the sequences have
  21. been converted to .MID files.
